Art and Music 3-5: Expressing Your Joy
In His Image Art and Music 3-5 combines two engaging courses designed to both entertain and teach your budding Arts lover! Art is the first half-year course starting in September. Music begins in January. In Art, homeschool students will learn to take pride in their own creativity and recognize its source, which is, of course, God, the ultimate Creator. In Music, children will delight in learning many traditional styles of music singing along with a variety of worship songs. The Lord of Lords created music and it is never too soon to begin appreciating this aspect of His creation.
The Learning by Grace, Inc., In His Image Art Series contains balanced and carefully selected visual Arts lessons that will enable students to experience the wonder of art. Through vivid images, intensive art projects, and related videos, homeschool students will find meaning in expressing themselves through the Arts! In Music, students will listen to songs and sing their hearts out! They will be introduced to basic music theory, and will explore music through activities, web sites, and even making their own instruments!

For the convenience of our homeschooled students, we have included a selection of streaming videos in some courses. These videos are accessed through the lesson, and are viewed online. Curriculum developers enhance lessons with relevant visuals that add flavor to specific lessons. Because Dial-Up users may experience delays in downloading streaming videos, these particular films are considered supplemental to the course and are provided purely for added enjoyment and learning enhancement. As Learning By Grace discovers new and exciting material to enrich the student’s learning experience, these will be added to the courses. Be sure to review this page periodically for updates on new supplemental films.
