Usage Fee: Our students will appreciate the benefits of the Health and Physical Education 5 LBG Film and Audio Series, provided to the homeschooler on a CD set. The student may access this series throughout the school year for a $15.00 usage fee. When the school year ends, the content on the CDs will expire, therefore the CDs do not need to be returned at the end of the school year.

In the Health and Physical Education 5 series students will explain structure & function of major body systems. Analyze the importance of immunization. Develop an exercise plan. Analyze the benefits of physical fitness. Maintain healthy bones and muscles. Analyze and plan with nutritional guidelines. Practice positive skills for coping with stress, conflict, disappointment and failure. Recognize resources in the community. Engage in physical activity for enjoyment, challenge, self expression and social interaction. Explore responsibility, respect, honesty, accountability, compassion, empathy. Discuss major respiratory diseases. Practice emergency response steps. Practice skills necessary to avoid the sports injuries.

Our Health and Physical Education 5 Film and Audio Series is a selection of Audio, VHS, and/or DVD material carefully grouped onto CDs as a requirement for various courses. The content is rich with up-to-date information that helps direct students in their learning process, while specifically complementing the text provided in the modules.

For the convenience of our homeschool students, we have included a selection of streaming videos in some courses. These videos are accessed through the lesson, and are viewed online. Curriculum developers enhance lessons with relevant visuals that add flavor to specific lessons. Because Dial-Up users may experience delays in downloading streaming videos, these particular films are considered supplemental to the course and are provided purely for added enjoyment and learning enhancement. As Learning By Grace discovers new and exciting material to enrich the student’s learning experience, these will be added to the courses.
