Curriculum developers enhance lessons with relevant visuals that add flavor to specific lessons. Because Dial-Up users may experience delays in downloading streaming videos, these particular films are considered supplemental to the course and are provided purely for added enjoyment and learning enhancement. As Learning By Grace discovers new and exciting material to enrich the student’s learning experience, these will be added to the courses. Usage Fee: Our students will appreciate the benefits of the Introduction to Psychology LBG Film and Audio Series, provided to the homeschooler on a CD set. The student may access this series throughout the school year for a $15.00 usage fee. When the school year ends, the content on the CDs will expire, therefore the CDs do not need to be returned at the end of the school year.
Introduction to Psychology
Introduction to Psychology is a video-intensive course that delves into basic psychology, the brain, and the mind. It explores such topics as memory, sensation, mood disorders, and sleep patterns. This course is great for any homeschooler interested in the diverse functions of your body’s control center.
The Physics eBook investigates the concepts of work, energy and power, as well as circular and satellite motion. To wrap up the first half of the physics course, we will study fluids and thermodynamics including the study of waves, sound and light. Then, lessons on electricity and magnetism are presented, after which homeschool students will be introduced to Einstein’s theory of special relativity. The eBook concludes with a brief exploration of modern physics (quantum mechanics).
