U.S. History provides a chronological, comprehensive examination of America’s history, from Native Americans and European conquest to the 2004 Presidential Election and the War on Terror. This course not only celebrates our history, but also critiques it through thoughtful analysis from a Christian perspective.
The U.S. History 11-12 eBook covers American history from colonization and settlement through the American Civil war, and through to the present day. Although American history has roots deep in western civilization, we will concentrate on the events which occurred in North America. A video-intensive course, U.S. History depends on visuals for emotional and intellectual inquiry.

Our US History Film and Audio Series is a selection of Audio, VHS, and/or DVD material carefully grouped onto CDs as a requirement for various courses. The content is rich with up-to-date information that helps direct students in their learning process, while specifically complementing the text provided in the modules.

For the convenience of our homeschooled students, we have included a selection of streaming videos in some courses. These videos are accessed through the lesson, and are viewed online. Curriculum developers enhance lessons with relevant visuals that add flavor to specific lessons. Because Dial-Up users may experience delays in downloading streaming videos, these particular films are considered supplemental to the course and are provided purely for added enjoyment and learning enhancement. As Learning By Grace discovers new and exciting material to enrich the student’s learning experience, these will be added to the courses.
