In English 10: Writing with Wisdom, homeschoolers will learn one of the most important skills of all: writing effectively. This intense course will help homeschoolers focus on refining writing, and homeschoolers will read some of the greatest works of literature. Reading material for this homeschool course includes Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie, Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels, Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby and Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy, Hamlet. Throughout their studies, as well as learning how to use punctuation properly and improve vocabulary and grammar, homeschoolers will also learn how to get ideas for writing.
