English at the 7th grade level introduces the homeschooler to new concepts in literature, such as the ability to approach a text critically and creatively. The homeschool experience can provide students with encouragement toward independent thought, and English 7: Imagination and Interpretation is intended to support this free approach. This course is to be used in addition to grammar lessons as a way of developing your homeschooler’s English skills. This program continues the curriculum of the sixth grade, and continues to introduce the student to new genres and concepts. Your homeschool student will learn to enjoy reading and self-expression.
